On 24th August, Engineers Without Borders held a nationwide awareness/fundraising day for their renewable energy programs, and BRE helped!
With a gold coin donation, people were allowed to add LEGO bricks to a wind turbine model, which was designed by EWB with help from BRE. There were models in mosts states, and a "competition" to see who finished first. The jury is still out on who won, but it was a very successful day for EWB, raising lots of funds for their projects in Nepal and elsewhere, and raising awareness in the community. Please read here for more information.
Our official photographer managed to visit both Melbourne locations, and can confirm that Monash Uni finished before Federation Square! The photographs have been posted here.
